Pools, parks, playgrounds and libraries to re-open — with provisos

LONGREACH Regional Council is making preparations for the re-opening of some facilities in line with the easing of restrictions announced by the State Government last week.

The Longreach Leader

The Longreach and Ilfracombe pools, as well as parks and playgrounds across the region, opened from Saturday, May 16 although physical distancing guidelines still apply. Libraries across the region will open from today.

Some facilities will remain closed, such as camping areas and sporting facilities, and strict distancing guidelines remain in place at all Council facilities.
