Breath testing is back
LONGREACH Police executed several search warrants in relation to drug offences last week. Results of their investigations revealed traces of cannabis and drug-related utensils, with all parties involved due to appear in Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police remind
all drivers that static breath testing has resumed following the suspension of
formal breath tests during Covid-19. Police also remind all drivers to be
mindful of speed limits when travelling, especially with an increase in
travellers on highways.
Police remind all people that reports have shown an increase in domestic violence during Covid-19, urging anyone suffering from domestic violence, or believe domestic violence is happening near them, to contact 000 if they are in immediate danger, or the domestic violence helpline on 1800 811 811.
