Rate: $4.93 per single column centimetre.
CLASSIFIED DISPLAY ADVERTISING:
Copy deadline 5 p.m. Tuesday. Sorry, we cannot accept advertising after this.
Rate: $8.66 per single column centimetre.
CLASSIFIED RUN-ON ADVERTISING:
Copy deadline 5 p.m. Tuesday. Sorry, we cannot accept advertising after this. Rate: $7.50 for the first 10 words, 30 cents per word thereafter. All advertising rates include GST.
PAYMENT:
Payment for advertising must be made at lodgement (cash or credit card) unless advertiser has established an account. Name, address & phone number of advertiser must be provided when ad is lodged. Engagement Notices must be signed by both parties and witnessed by a JP, including address and phone number. Birth Notices must be signed by one parent and witnessed by a Doctor, Sister or JP. Funeral and Death Notices Accepted only from Funeral Director concerned or if name, address and phone number of Funeral Director is provided. Obituaries published free of charge if name, address and phone number of author is provided.
Advertisements must comply with anti-discrimination laws.
ACCOUNTS:
An account with the Longreach Printing Co. Ltd. may be approved on the satisfactory completion of an “Application for Credit” form which will be forwarded by request.
AGENCY COMMISSION:
It is this newspaper’s policy that the 10% agency commission is only given to Advertising Media Agencies who book their client’s advertising through our Agency representatives (The Media Workshop and Rural Press).
INSERTS:
Inserts for inclusion in The Longreach Leader must be at our Magpie Lane premises by 10am Tuesday prior to publication.
